Jingumae

About

Uzna Omom is a charming café nestled on the second floor of a tiny building near Jingumae. The place is famous for its soufflé pancakes that look like clouds, and the café offers a cozy and intimate haven from the chaotic streets downstairs.

Ambiance

The space is a warm, inviting spot with wood touches, soft lighting, and a relaxed ambiance. It is small and intimate, with limited tables, so that it feels like an insider's secret. The soft murmur of conversation and the scent of hot pancakes cook create a cozy, homey atmosphere.

Food & Drinks

I had their famous 3-Layer Soufflé Pancakes, which were thick, incredibly fluffy, and melted in my mouth. They came with butter, syrup, and whipped cream, striking the perfect balance of sweetness. I paired it with a Matcha Latte, which was smooth, creamy, and had a well-balanced earthy flavor.

Price

For the quality and portion size, the prices are reasonable. Expect to pay around ¥1,200–¥1,800 for a pancake set and a drink, making it a worthwhile splurge for such an indulgent treat.
